Hi, I'm a Organist/Keyboardist and I just pitched this idea to our sound engineers at my church. I'm already sure that we will need to create an adhoc network separate from the regular network in order to use this system. However I sometimes take a mobile unit around with us to different venues and churches. What wifi Routers are the most practical for this system and how do you set them up? Thanks
We use the Linksys AC2600 (~$150 on Amazon) with 9 devices connected. We recommend the Linksys AC5400 (~$300) for anything over 9 musicians. The ASUS ROG AC5300 is great too.
I just set over an email to get you started if you would like to try it out with your system.
Greetings audiofusion! As I am reading the Q&A from the last couple weeks, I am confident that our church’s Soundcraft Si board with a DANTE card (currently used to send Ethernet to our Avioms) will work well with Audiofusion on our MacBook and a decent router. We would love to give the beta a shot and ultimately allow our frontline vocals to go completely wireless without the purchase of additional AVIOM units and expensive wireless IEM units!Audiofusion responded on 06/20/2018 Next question
I've pre-oredered the software via apple store, is there a beta testing software avaiable now just to check things out?Audiofusion responded on 06/22/2018
