Q

Hello, can i rose SoundCaster and Performer only? Or i need to purchase director to?

Audiofusion responded on 07/21/2018
A

Hi Alex,
Director is optional. It is nice to have if you have a monitor engineer or sound tech who can use it during the performance. It does three things: 1) It is a remote control for the input levels on SoundCaster so you are not tied to the sound booth. 2) While you can-relabel on SoundCaster by typing over the default input lables, Director gives you the further ability to re-assign labels without re-typing them if you change where you plug things in. 3) Director can assign devices to specific musicians and, thereby, listen to the same mix each musician is hearing on their device and make adjustments for them. That kind of simultaneous control is very powerful and for only $99.
Send me a note and let me know how your beta testing is going. -Brandon

Q

Hello, is it possible to route an output of the console (Focusrite) instead of one of the inputs to the performer app?

regards

Tim
(we are currently testing the app)

Hi Tim,

Send me a note at leafblad@audiofusionsystems.com it is a little easier to carry on our conversation. I believe that Focusrite gives you the ability to route in a number of different ways. I don't think I've routed it exactly like you're talking about but let me know if you are playing tracks. -Brandon

Q

Soundcaster sounds like a great option.. but need more details. We currently use the Xair18 but run it off a PC. I understand you'll be testing PC versions soon? Can I get more details please?

Hi Rob,
You could continue to run the Xair18 from the PC but, unfortunately, you will need a Mac to run SoundCaster. We do plan to release a PC/android version of our system but that testing may be 3~4 months away.
Let me know if you can come up with a Mac to try the beta version.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

We're using XR18, Dante and Android phones and would be thrilled to test your Android beta when it's ready!

Thank you!
We will let you know as soon as we begin testing the Android version.

Q

Very nice software! I have a question: once you release windows/Android support, can I use iOS sound caster with android performer app as well as iPhone one? Or vice versa, windows caster with Android and iPhone devices?

Audiofusion responded on 07/12/2018
A

Hello Alfonso,
We plan to make them work together. It is standard Wi-Fi networking so they should be able to talk to SoundCaster independently.

Q

Do you have plans to develop compatible android applications?

Audiofusion responded on 07/10/2018
A

Hello Pilyoung,
We do plan to make a PC/Android version of the software but that testing may not begin for another 3 to 4 months.
I'll send you an email if you are interested in trying the Apple version.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

Audiofusion responded on 07/10/2018
A

Hello Ismael,
Our pricing will be just as you described. Performer will continue to be a free download. Any musician on your rotation can have that on their phone. You will purchase SoundCaster based on the number of Performers you would like to connect at one time. The initial $99 download will allow you to connect one Performer. You can add additional connections for $99 each through in app purchase.
I will send you an email to get you started as a beta tester if you would like to try our system with your console.

Q

¿Habrá una aplicación de Android que sea gratuita ya que aveces no se cuenta con un presupuesto?

Audiofusion responded on 07/10/2018
A

We will make a PC and Android version. As always the musicians ' app will be free but you must buy SoundCaster. It is only $99 per connection for wireless and personal monitor mixing.

Q

Will there be a android app?

Audiofusion responded on 07/09/2018
A

Yes. We are planning to build both PC and Android version but that testing will not begin for another 3 or 4 months.

Q

Que tal me gustaría tener mas información acerca de esta nueva tecnología para monitores. Cuantos dispositivos puedo anclar?

Hello Mauricio,
Using our system you will be limited to 16 channels but you can connect as many devices as you buy connections for. Each connection is a one time purchase of $99 each. The only limitation is the capability of your Wi-Fi router.
