I see that the in-ear monitoring piece is only for IOS. However, musicians will have a wide range of android and ios devices. Any chance the in-ear piece will be available for Android users soon? I would consider this to be a huge obstacle for churches to fully embrace this as their fulltime in-ear system until this is fledged out.

Hi Jeff,
Although we are initially launching with iOS only, we do plan to release a PC and Android version. That beta testing may not begin for another 3~4 months. In the meantime you may have to pick up a handful of used iPhones to keep on hand for everyone. A used iPhone 6 is under $200 these days. In fact many of our testing churches are doing iPhone 6 drives. Your congregation probably has a few sitting unused that they would be happy to donate to the worship team.

Q

I preordered on my MacBook for our church, but now there is talk about getting a dedicated Mac mini. Can I swap computers without having to buy again?

Hi Ryan,
That should be no problem.
The purchase is tied to your Apple Id so you should be able to download it on your new Mac.
The 1.0 should be released any day now!
Thanks,
Brandon

Hi Jon,
We're just waiting for final approval from the app store.
Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.
I just sent over the beta agreement if you'd like to try it out for a bit.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

The Mac app store audio fusion site has mysteriously shut down. Has the project been cancelled? It was pushed from the 21st of July to the 27th. You've created quite a following with a promising and innovative product. Don't abandon your base and toy with us. If there are problems, THEN ANNOUNCE THEM !

Sorry for the lack of communication. There have been just a few details hanging us up with the Apple store. We think it is going to launch on Monday.
Thanks for hanging in there with us!

Hi P,
SoundCaster is still not available in any of the Mac stores. (not even in the US) We've had just a few small delays. I expect it will be available by Tuesday! So, just a few more days!
I would be happy to send you a copy of the beta version if you would like to get started. You could use it as a way to 'try it before you buy it'. Send me an email to leafblad@audiofusionsystems.com if you are interested. -Brandon

Q

Hi there,

My band is just starting out and have decided that wireless IEM's are best for our needs. This software seems perfect for what we want, but I was wondering - two of our members have android phones. How long do you think it will be before you maybe release an android version of the performer app? I'd also like to know whether the software is a one-time purchase or a subscription-type deal?

Thanks,
AJ

Hi AJ,
What is the name of your new band? I'd love to check out your stuff.
Audiofusion is definitely going to be the way to go. We are still 3 to 4 months away from starting our beta testing of the PC/Android versions. We are just launching the Mac/iOS versions in the next few days.
But, for those members of your band on Android, you can find a used iPhone 6 for under $200 these days. In fact, ask around to some of your friends and family and i bet someone has an iPhone 6 sitting in a drawer somewhere. You don't even need a sim card; just Wi-Fi. It would still be a fraction of the cost of wireless body packs or personal monitor mixing boxes. Send me an email at leafblad@audiofusionsystems.com and let me know about your set-up, do you bring your own mixer or audio interface?, how many band members?
Thanks,
Brandon
