Q

Interested in testing this out. However, I'm the only Mac / iPad / iPhone user. Is this usable with Android devices?

Hi Kristin,
Our system is available initially with Apple and iOS devices only. We do plan to offer an Android version but that may be 3 or 4 months away.
I sent over an email to get you started as a beta tester. Perhaps you could pick up some used iPhone 6 devices to test with.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

Hi Brandon, we use a Dante network hooked up to a Mac. Does your software interface with this type of system? If so, is there a way I can get trial or beta version to test it out?

Audiofusion responded on 05/07/2018
A

Hi Nathan,
Our systems works wonderfully with Dante. You can keep the Mac in the booth and put the Wi-Fi router on stage. They will find each other on the network. Its beautiful.
I sent over an email to get you started.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

Dante

Audiofusion responded on 05/06/2018
A

Yes! Our software will recognize the Dante Virtual Soundcard as an audio source. Our Performer app is limited to 16 channels so choose 8x8 or 16x16 on the Dante controller for the Mac running our software. Choose 16 channels to include in the mix and SoundCaster will broadcast them over Wi-Fi.
Send me a note at leafblad@audiofusionsystems.com if you would like to try our beta version with your system.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

Two questions, one is the pricing that we see based on 100.00 dollars per musician or is that we buy one program and then can have as many musicians as we want and second are there still opening for beta testers

Audiofusion responded on 05/05/2018
A

Hello Ryan,
The initial download of SoundCaster is $99 and comes with a connection to one Performer. You can add additional connections through in-app purchases for $99 each. That is a one time purchase price. I sent you an email to get you started as a beta tester.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

How high will the average latency be?

Audiofusion responded on 05/04/2018
A

The latency will depend on your digital mixer or audio interface plus the capability of your Wi-Fi router.
It is quite usable. I have used it more than 60 times in live performance and we have more than 350 beta testers using the system now. Give it a try for yourself and let us know what you think.

Q

How do I get the beta?
