Q

how can conect to my digital audio system

Our software will recognize audio from any digital source connected to your computer just like any DAW. We connect directly to our digital mixer by USB but you could also use an Audio Interface.
Thanks,
Brandon

Q

How many tracks?
Latency to end user once the audio is present in a laptop?
Any processing such as EQ in the controller app? How can I be a beta tester? Thank you.

Hi Burak,
Our part of the system is quite low, between 3-5 ms from MacBook to Wi-Fi router to iPhone.
At launch we have limited the musician app to 16 channels but that is arbitrary. We hope to lift that limit after we prove stable in the market. There is no processing yet in the mixer (only panning) but that is definitely on the road map.
Send me an e-mail at leafblad@audiofusionsystems.com on February 1st or 2nd and I'll do my best to get you set up as a tester. We would love to get your feedback and give you a chance to try before you buy.

Thanks,
Brandon

Q

what hardware i need to work ?

Hello Manuel,
Our system is 100% software that runs on a MAcBook and iPhone/iPad. You need a digital mixer or audio interface that can get the audio into the computer through USB or something. Our software will recognize any audio device just like a digital audio workstation (DAW). Once the audio is in the computer our software will package up the raw audio and brodcast it over Wi-Fi to our app on the musician's iPhone where they can hear the audio and control their own mix.
I see that you requested to be a beta tester. Please give me a few weeks to get back to you. We are trying to release for the first time on the app store. I will stay in touch.

We will launch with Mac and iOs only but plan to release a version for Windows/Android in short order. Hopefully only a couple of months after we launch.

What kind of source audio is required? ie. what kind of mixers/output is required

Hi Rod,
Our main MacBook software is called SoundCaster. It operates much like any other Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) in that it can recognize any audio source that can connect to the Macbook. Many of the newer digital mixers have USB out. Some older mixer have firewire, etc. If you have an analog board you can use an Audio Interface to get the audio into the MAC via USB. SoundCaster can even recognize audio from Dante using their virtual sound card.

Once you get the raw audio into the Mac, SoundCaster packages up all the raw audio and broadcasts it over Wi-Fi to the Performer app running on each musician's iPhone where they both hear and customize their mix.

Thanks,
Brandon

Will it be a problem using your app on a pc to our sound board (Behringer X32) and connecting via WiFi to my phone which is a iPhone? And are you doing any betas for the pc version anytime soon because I would be very interested.

Hi Caleb,
We will be launching our first release in the next few weeks.
It will only capable of running on a MacBook and iOS.

We plan to release a Windows/Android version as soon as possible. I'll let you know when we start running beta for that. Maybe you could find a used MacBook for this purpose. Our system works quite well with the Behringer.

Thanks,
Brandon
